Advent calendar concept design and illustration for the Dutch peanut butter brand De Pindakaaswinkel.
The illustration shows a view through the window of De Pindakaaswinkel, where peanuts have come to life and are busy decorating the shop's shelves for Christmas. Hidden behind each gift box and peanut at work is a peanut butter jar waiting to be discovered. The playful scene was designed to capture the warmth and anticipation of Christmas while making the countdown to each new flavour feel like a small discovery.
The visual approach combines the warmth and anticipation of Christmas with the playful and slightly whimsical character of De Pindakaaswinkel. A hidden peanut hunt and flavour clues encourage further exploration, turning the packaging itself into part of the advent experience.
